I loved this story of love and perseverance

This book hooked me from the very first page and kept me reading until the end. Sadie is a strong, resilient heroine, and I loved watching her and Micah help each other heal. Their romance was sweet, the suspense kept me guessing, and the ending was so satisfying. If you enjoy romance with a touch of danger, you'll love this one!

A Tale of Healing, Brotherhood, and Found Family

Broken Souls tells a moving story centered around Micah, the president of the Broken Rebels Brotherhood (BRB), a motorcycle club made up of veterans striving to find new purpose in civilian life. Instead of merely existing, BRB members dedicate themselves to protecting and rehabilitating people in abusive situations, forging a powerful found family in the process.

The novel introduces Sadie, who grew up in foster care, always feeling out of place and facing constant loss and hardship. When Sadie marries, she hopes for stability, but her husband’s transformation into an abuser forces her to flee for her life. It’s during this desperate escape that Micah intervenes, offering not just protection but a chance at true belonging.

The chemistry between Micah and Sadie is immediate and intense, yet the relationship is far from simple. Micah’s own struggles—particularly with PTSD—are sensitively explored, adding depth to his character as an alpha male protector. Their journey together is one of mutual healing and learning to trust, set against the backdrop of a gritty, close-knit brotherhood.

The author deftly balances romance, suspense, and emotional growth, making this a compelling read for anyone who appreciates stories about overcoming adversity and finding family where you least expect it.

Attention grabbing from the beginning!

From the start the book had me wanting to keep listening. Sadie had my attention instantly with her will to keep going no matter what had happened to her. Love a book that shows a strong female being able to push through what life throws at them. Then enter Micah, who helps right from the start and continues to protect as needed. Also, to show Micah’s struggles as well and that he isn’t just a strong alpha jumping to save the day was another thing I liked. Then to see their relationship grow was beautiful, because it showed them helping each other with the struggles they faced.
The book touches on themes of domestic violence, rape, loss of parents, miscarriage and PTSD. Hard topics but handled very well. We get to see Sadie grow confidence as the book goes on and she shows she can finally own her sassiness and humor.
The book was well written, was easy to follow the flow of what was going on. Characters were wonderful, you get a glimpse at several in the book, even with a couple chapters from their point of view. I found their world relatable in various ways.
The author did very well with this book, then ends it with you wanting more!
Also, personal note it’s always cool to find a book that has the location set in the state you are from.

I love this couple!

I had read this in print originally and fell in love with Micah and Sadie. Needing an audio book to listen to, I fell in love all over again. Each of them was missing a piece of themself and found that in the other!
