Anything by Julie Klassen is a GREAT read!!

I enjoyed it from start to finish as all others. I will reread her books as they are all very good. I definitely recommend!

Mystery, romance, and relationships

Great character development and captivating story. I loved Anne”s character and the relationship that developed between her and Lady Celia. The historical context the author added at the end was also interesting.

A mystery that keeps you guessing.

A mystery that keeps you guessing until the end. I enjoyed this mystery and all the different characters included. Only reason I took a point off is because I felt the story drug on too long. I'm all about character and plot development but it seemed so slow at times.

Well written regency gothic story

This book kept me on my toes, full of history, great characters, suspense and plot twists. Just when you think you know “who done it”, the author keeps you guessing. I gasped out loud several times. So good. Romance is a part of the storyline, although almost a subplot. I loved the little community of painswick and almost wish the author would keep the storylines going. For now, their futures are tucked away in my imagination! Highly recommend
