The story and narration

I am a big fan of Richard Ryan's Sherlock Holmes work. I enjoyed this story but have to admit it is much too short. Ryan's talent lies in fleshing out full-length novels. I wanted this short story to be so much more than it is. It is a good, solid story but could be so much more!

Good story that I wish was longer

I am sure this is one Sherlock would like to forget since the client came to him because he thought he was being poisoned. Sherlock is unable to save him, but does find his murderer. Great narration.
