Assassin story, not God's but magicians, true Gothic horror
It weaves themes of freedom fighters and power struggles against those who can't get enough dominance, riches and power with no remorse against the poor and those perceived to be powerless.
Just enough sex and blood to be exciting without being gross.

I just hope that the story ends in the next book, if not, it better be in the one after that or I will quit this series.

Plot , strong fmc

I love this story she’s very strong in her way and the mmcs all are amazing I love the alpha male and the phycho is adorable and can’t forget the loveable mmc who has a big heart 💕

80% inner monologue

This could have been an amazing book, if you pull out all the repetitive inner monologue and condense 4 books into 1 or 2 books. The narrator was great!

Improvement from book one (my thoughts)

I really wanted to like this book, but the FMC just irks me..

There is so much unnecessary writing that doesn’t contribute to the story and only makes the reading/listening experience for me personally very unenjoyable.

I do love the story overall as it’s an interesting storyline, but all I get overshadowed by the overexplaining and the writing choices. (In my opinion!)
