Book 2 in the Places series was put together to allow me a chance to work with the other Scottish horror authors that I love. Upcoming books in the series will feature authors from England, Wales, Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Inside, you will find tales of Scottish horror based on the legend of Sawney Bean, historic horror tales about the Picts, tales of rage when a man battling anger issues faces off against a Young Team, and a haggis themed creature feature.

I would like to rate the book 5 stars all over, but for me, the last story in the book got boring very quickly. Without spoilers, every "scene" were pretty much the same, same description, same scenario. I struggled to get through it.
Compared to the previous stories, I'm surprised the last one made the cut.

The narrator did an excellent job, and the book is very worth reading if you just skip the last contribution.

Skip the last story, and its a good book.
