Fantastic start!

I binged this over the course of 3 days. Love the unique system and different talk on stealing skills. I can’t wait for the next one!

Liked it better than I thought I would

MC is likable just a little contradictory with his study and experience. Blue mage trend in line with most series.
Quirky system it as not as involved as DCC.
Fun first book and I will continue to follow the series

Not much more to to say ....some of the underlying premises seemed flaky to me at first, but at some point I cud not let that stop me from enjoying the story.

I like worlds with "game-like" features ...but I don't like books about games. I can't convince myself to take anything seriously in those books. I mean it's just a game. The player can just press pause or log off n go back to his real-life.

This book is both real and a game, and the way it accomplishes that is pretty novel/creative ....was a little weird n hard to swallow for me at first ...but once I got into the story I was able to appreciate it. And by the end I was totally into it. This is a weak to strong OP MC story ...MC is not annoying - he was actually likeable. I'm hyped now, n I can't wait for the next book to come out.
