Not your average vampire novel

I loved the diverse take on vampirism, the change, and human life can be entangled into vampire life. Its a great listen

Excelent world building

Made it to book 5 of the alliance series, then decided to go check out the Awakening series. Wow. Really good. I love the soulmate aspect and how they are kind of slaves to it.

Worst reading!

I wish I could finished listening to this book, I really do! I want to finish the rest of the story. I had to stop with seven hours left of the story. I love Brenda Davies’ books. But the woman reading this story is terrible!! I’m sorry to say that, but it is just downright distracting and I can’t finish. It’s flat and void of emotion and the male voices should have not even been attempted. Disappointed!
