The clock is ticking… and Season 2 is officially ON.

Bob and Mike are back in the home office to launch Season 2 of Command the Commute with a full-throttle breakdown of the Commanders’ offseason. The NFL Draft is in the books, and the guys are diving into every pick—starting with the monster at #7, Sonny Styles. Is he the playmaking defensive weapon Washington has been missing? The boys are fired up, cautiously optimistic, and already talking positionless defense.

Then it’s on to free agency, where the Commanders didn’t chase flashy headlines—they plugged holes. Leo Chenal brings violence, juice, and attitude to the middle of the defense. Odafe Oweh, Amik Robertson, Chig Okonkwo, Rashad White, Jerome Ford, and more get the full CTC treatment as Bob and Mike sort through who fits, who sticks, and who could be gone by roster cuts.

Of course, no Commanders offseason is complete without a uniform debate. The new burgundy, white, and black sets are here—and they might be the closest thing yet to the old-school Redskins look. So naturally, the guys go there: could the logo come back? Could the name ever return? And is the new stadium timeline the real deadline?

Plus: NFL offseason drama, Dan Quinn’s warming seat, next year’s NFL Draft coming to DC, WrestleMania disappointment, Ravens uniform slander, and what’s ahead for Season 2.

New season. New roster. Same two maniacs on the mic.

We’re on the clock. Let’s ride.

Thirty episodes. One rollercoaster season. And we’re wrapping up Season One the only way we know how.

In this finale, we break down the Super Bowl — the defensive battle, the halftime show debate, the commercials (or lack of memorable ones), and yes… the streaker. Then we reflect on what this first season of Command the Commute has meant to us and to the growing community listening across multiple states and countries.

From bold preseason predictions (13–4… we remember 😅) to a 5–12 reality check, we own it all.

Then it’s time for the first-ever Commies Awards — handing out honors for:

    • Best “We Were There” moment
    • Injury of the Year
    • X-Files Award (former players still shining)
    • Don’t Come Back Player of the Year
    • Commander in Chief
    • Team MVP
      …and more.

We close things out looking ahead to a pivotal offseason — draft strategy, cap space decisions, and how this team builds around its franchise quarterback.

Season One is officially in the books...The offseason begins...And we’ll be back when it’s time to Command the Commute again.

  • Super Bowl: One Day…

The season’s over… but we’re not done. This is the pre–Super Bowl finale of Command the Commute — where Bob and Mike try to survive the offseason and make sense of what the hell Washington is building.

We open with the new DC hire: Daronte Jones. Bob lays out the path, the coaching tree influence, and why Washington’s defense has to take a step forward after a year that felt like rooting for field goals.

From there, it’s a full-on identity conversation: teased logos, spear imagery, throwback rumors, and what a realistic timeline looks like for a future rebrand with the stadium era looming.

Then we go league-wide: Bill Belichick not being first ballot sparks a Hall of Fame debate, including the short list of true first-ballot coaches — and why Joe Gibbs still confuses the timeline.

We end where the entire sports world ends up: the Super Bowl. Prop bets, commercials, halftime conversation, and full game picks for Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots — plus why we’re pulling for Seattle.

Next week: our season finale — listener stats, new countries, and end-of-season awards. 🏆

    Hail to the Redskins.
