good story. 80% good narration

let me start out with I love the story and maybe I'm biased but I bought everything that this author writes. I might have an issue with the way that the Publishers releasing this as I feel there are story elements that happen in the other story of the evil dictator that you're missing parts of it in this story and since that one so far ahead to the average reader where he was originally releasing this that shouldn't have been a problem but the fact that they are releasing this story alongside the main story and not letting the main story have that padding of releases does feel like that hurts this a little bit. now to the narrator everything she does that is just narration and the female characters sounds great but as soon as she gets to the male characters it feels like William Shatner trying to tell me a story there are so many pauses in between words it that sounds robotic almost like an old text-to-speech program from 15-20 years ago that itself pulled so me out of the story so much
