Entertaining story, performance somewhat annoying

This is another entertaining book in this series. I love the characters. There is plenty of suspense and danger along with a slowly building clean romance. The happy ending completes the package. However, I much preferred reading the book. I found this performance somewhat annoying and it was hard to listen to.

The whining voices

It’s somewhat a theme in this series. The woman and child in this book are so whiny I thought my head would bleed. An adult woman shouldn’t have any reason to be this annoyed all the time. It’s nauseating. I like the story, but it’s difficult to handle the tone and delivery of these characters. The previous book in the series was a reprieve and a delight, which is why I carried on with the series (plus the fact that I purchased them). But it’s back for this book. So sad. I think I’ll start whining about it.

Please get a new narrator

The whiny voices depicting women and Ben in this story are like nails on a blackboard. I actually prefer virtual voice to this.

Nice Story but the reader is annoying.

I like the series, but the reader has got to go. Very annoying, whiny and obnoxious. I almost didn’t want to finish. I really like Laura Scott, but I am going to have to read the next book on my own.

I believe this story and the previous ones in this series would have been much more enjoyable if phrases weren't repeated so often, just changed the wording up a little. Even with their prayers. Also the narrator makes the women and in this story also the boy, sound very whiny which became very annoying.
