Every Silent Lie

Jodi Ellen Malpas did it again. This book is amazingly poignant. She’s broken and sees no enjoyment in life. She’s barely existing. She wears her loss like a cloak and it’s visible to anyone who truly looks.

Another of her nightly stops at the nearby bar. Her usual routine, 2 martinis…one for her and the other a deterrent. The bartender sees and while intrigued, he does his job. The other person who sees is equally intrigued by Camryn. Dec Ellis. He slowly brings light to her dark days. He’s got his own secrets and both are keeping them close. Every Silent Lie.

There is so much to work through for both but Dec is there for it. For all of it. Even when she runs. Little does she realize she’s running towards him because he won’t let her go. Her pain is valid and she’s been wronged and lost. But her happiness is not lost and Dec Ellis, along with Mr. Perceval will bring her back to life and help her see her future.

Tears will flow but the heart will sing. Every Silent Lie was the best way to end 2025!!!

Emotional

Every Silent Lie is Camryn Moore and Declan aka Dec’s story and what an emotional story it was.

All Camryn wants to do is keep going and my heart broke for her on numerous occasions.

This was an emotional, well written story that tore me apart. Using alcohol to keep her demons at bay, it’s a vicious cycle.

Meeting Dec, he is drawn to her as he learns about her life. However Dec has secrets that when revealed may impact Camry in ways she doesn’t see coming.

The growth of the characters throughout this story was intense
as they learnt to live life again.

The duet narration by Zara Hampton-Brown, Shane East, & Christopher Tester brought the characters to life. Their voices were easy to listen too and they brought all the drama, passion, romance and angst to their performances.

Every Sliemt Lie

Absolutely beautiful written. Yes love sadness and heartfelt words that cant explain. There is laughter for sure that cant hold any justice. Every questions answered but twisted.

Finding love

Cameron was a mess, she was still suffering from so many things, and it left her a difficult person to be around and totally lacking any self confidence. Until Dec enters her life. Dec really made the story a wonderful addition to a story that had been miserable.

Timely story for Christmas- heart wrenching

I always love to listen/read to any Jodi Malpas ‘s books and this one was up there. Told in chronological order to date of the month of December, we are thrown into the woes of Camryn, a mother who lost her 4 year old boy and all the world’s day to day worries and problems. She is tough as a CFO yet so lost within herself. She meets Dec…and you will fall in love with both of them…It is a very appropriate holiday story and of course beautifully narrated.
