Echoes of Green follows Chase Hughes returning to his hometown, Grand Meadows, Texas, for the first time in 20 years. He is haunted by memories as he attends the funeral of his former best friend, Stefano "Steve" Moretti. The journey brings back painful reflections on his daughter Rosie's death, which bears unsettling similarities to Steve’s recent car accident. Throughout this journey, Chase is forced to face the past he left behind, reuniting with old friends, a former love interest, as well as those who wronged him.

From Blake Elliott Hill, author of Secrets of the Song, Echoes of Green explores the depths of friendship, grief, and the journey toward healing.

Not my usual listen as I typically listen to fantasy stuff but I've had the pleasure of meeting Blake and this title was quite an emotional rollercoaster as it reads very much like a semi-autobiography if not an autobiography and on more than one occasion I wanted to reach through the pages and throttle some people in the story.
Color me intrigued and I look forward to hearing more about Grand Meadows.
