A brilliant linguist, devout patriot, voracious reader, and fitness and yoga enthusiast, Reality Winner was a US Air Force veteran working at the NSA when she leaked a classified document containing revelations about the 2016 US presidential election. Today she is a CrossFit coach living in South Texas and studying to become a licensed veterinary technologist.

what a brave an honest woman

I am so glad I listened to this book. Reality taught me a lot I didn't know (but always suspected) about how our government runs itself. her story is very important so I'm glad she had The bravery to write it and share details that she didn't have to share but really complete a whole picture of what she went through And most inmates really. it was heartbreaking to hear but knowledge is power. in the age of Trump's dictatorship. it's more important now that we don't keep our heads in the sand and that we learn the hard truths and start doing something about it.

A very important book!!

Everyone should read this. Scary in its implications for our country. The unfairness of the application of the law is stunning.

This is a survival story. You won't find out in this book what she revealed, only the price she paid for revealing it. in fact, the report was how Russia tried to hack into American voting systems to tilt the 2016 presidential election. A "60 Minutes" interview with Reality Winner from 2021 notes that information she shared helped strengthen voting procedures in time for the 2018 mid-terms.
