Lack of tension and research

This book simply wasn’t good. I won’t go in depth on all the flaws in the racing itself(there was a lot), but also the romance in the story just isn’t it. There’s no tension, nothing to keep the reader going. It’s just all sunshine and rainbows with this other guy who’s annoying but never truly a threat.
