Problem was, unlike the rest of the people in the Center, I was poor. My parents had taken out a second mortgage so I could spend my ninety days here instead of in juvie. I had to make a deal with the Devil, and by the Devil I mean Hendrick Kenley and his cohort of disenchanted fools.

The Devil offered me a deal I couldn’t refuse; he’d pay for everything on the trip, traveling on a private planes and staying in fancy hotels, but I had to let him and his friends tag along.

There was a reason for the adage that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I’d learn the truth of that the hard way.

Inside The Maelstrom is a two part enemies to lovers, reverse harem romance. The protagonists are all in their twenties and this book contains M/M.

More than a Pretty Woman

I never leave reviews. This audiobook deserves so much recognition. My only complaint is not being able to find more RH/Polyamory performances with this cast. Juno’s warm voice with a little rasp and perfectly pitched performance was so refreshing! As an admittedly catty female consumer, rarely is it the female lead narrator that is the standout for me, but this one is an exception, and I’ll be watching for more titles with her in cast! The entire performance of all cast was solid A+.

I have found I often don’t enjoy titles where the lead characters struggle with clinical depression because it becomes whiny and steals all focus. Grace McGinty found what to me was a perfect balance on this one! Kudos and stars to all involved in making my solo road trip awesome this week! Even if I did have to turn the volume waaaay down at the lights. IYKYK

Compelling characters

This story is beautiful and full of the pain that makes up each individual life, woven in to a whole that shines. The cast is excellent in a way that is rare and precious.

Solid paranormal RH with strong world-building

This was a solid paranormal reverse harem with a unique premise. The world-building is strong, the FMC is capable and likable, and the guys are all distinct and interesting. The plot moved well, and there's enough mystery and action to keep things engaging. The relationships develop at a good pace, and the chemistry is there. It's not perfect. Some plot points felt a bit convenient. But overall, it's an enjoyable read. If you're looking for a new paranormal RH series, this is worth checking out.

So Glad I Took A Chance On This!

"Inside The Maelstrom" was a very satisfying listen in every way; I experienced a very full, enriching story performed by amazing voice actors. I love how well the characters were developed so much that if I were lucky enough to acquire a reverse harem these very same guys I wouldn't mind if they were in it. I love the 'amazing race' scavenger hunt aspect of the story and the growing pains of a newly formed family. This was my first title by Grace McGinty and I loved this so much I am eager to see what else she has out there.

this was amazing! definitely hot all the feels. I laughed out loud, got pissed and balledy eyes out all throughout the story. and the fact it was duet full cast made it even better. amazing performances!! don't sleep on this one it's amazing!!
