Titus Kellum Jr, feels like it's love at first sight when he first lays eyes on Faith. She is smart, beautiful, and classy. She is a labor and delivery nurse. Titus is CEO of one of his father's successful marketing firms in New York City. He is a Christian man and feels like they would be a good match. He asks her out, and he quickly falls in love with her. He notices Faith is a little high strung, but still feels as if she is his soulmate.

They soon get married and everything is going well. They want to start a family, but that is when trouble arises. Every time Faith gets pregnant, she has a miscarriage. Each time she has a miscarriage she falls deeper and deeper into depression. This causes a major strain in their marriage. Titus tries to be there for Faith, but she vehemently pushes him away. At his wits end with Faith's behavior, Titus makes some bad choices.

After they weather the storm, Faith gets pregnant again. They feel excited and blessed that Faith's pregnancy is going well, and she even has a new friend who is going through a pregnancy as well. Faith has her baby, but things don't go as Titus expects. Faith's mental health began to worry him again. When the unexpected happens, Titus makes a vow to protect his family at all costs.
