Broken. Trapped. Surrounded by vicious monsters.

After a failed dungeon run leaves Tess nearly comatose, her only hope is to travel far away to seek healing. But when a teleportation ritual goes awry, she'll quickly find herself stuck in a strange and chaotic land, penned in by treacherous traps and brutal beasts.

Accompanied by only two of her closest friends, Tess will have to rise to the occasion and fight her way out. All the while, with her mind still in tatters, as she finds a path to freedom, she'll also have to find herself.

Join Tess as she fights, crafts, and explores her way through bizarre and shifting lands, embarking on a journey fit for the gods themselves.

Patchwork Skies is a classic LitRPG novel with character levels, classes, and stats, ideal for existing fans of the genre and newcomers alike.

I like how much stronger everyone seems to have gotten from this one. I just hope they aren't in the same place for the next 4 books. story is still 👍

A Good Grind

it in fact did not fall of, it in fact grew more interesting the fact that Tess has to deal with the fall out and the injury of the previous problems and injuries is so much more gripping, i all ways liked that Tess was not a power fantasy protag. so yeah this new arc is really cool and interesting so no it did not fall of

i love the new Tess

there were lots of side story development some interesting twists. This was one book for a lot of separate story line payoffs I could see how some people might not be enthralled by the route some things took but without spoilers all I can say is great overall sequel.

Ps: semi spoilers warning ⚠️ I loved the mental aspect of what happens she let so much pile on till the shelf that was her mind literally collapsed. A broken person making something of them self one step at a time only now knowing she can definitely make something new out of the ruins of a broken self.

Extremely worth the credit

All the books in the series are so good. Can’t wait for the next one.

Fantastic

After the lighter tones of the precious volumes, this one was just much heavier. Tess is mentally traumatized for most of the book, which is how her Mental Resistance makes it to 20.

We meet her grandmaster (her master's master) and learn she isn't going anywhere for a while, but there is a time dilation effect, so to the outside world it won't be as long.

Thankfully, Tess and company finish the first of 4 tasks and end the novel about to open some rewards.
Hopefully the next entry gets through the last 3 and out of this dungeon...

Much heavier and slightly depressing at times
