Take a handsome detective, add a pretty English girl and a cruise from Paris to Normandy, mix with murder and you have the recipe for an international suspense novel.
After saving his sister-in-law from human traffickers, Zac Taylor became a detective with the Tampa Police Department. Burned out after five years, Zac goes on vacation, a river cruise where he meets Leslie, his lovely cabin steward. When a fellow passenger is murdered and she's accused of the crime, he's convinced that she's being framed. So, he decides to assist her defense attorney and find out what really happened. With her trial looming, Zac rushes from France to England to the United States in a frantic search for the truth. Time is running out. Will Leslie be found guilty and sentenced to life in prison before he succeeds? Obsessed by that possibility drives Zac to try even harder. A young woman's life depends on it.

It was a good book that you want to come back and listen to instead of dreading a boring story. And I have to say I’ve listen to virtual voices before some are pretty bad, but this one was great. I really wouldn’t of known the difference between a virtual voice in this audio book and a real person. I would recommend this book to anybody .

A Believable story.
