The narration was excellent. The presentation was more like a play with the distinctly individual voices of the characters.

Gripping Drama

it just keep coming more and more. issue after issue .. all of them.requiring plot armor to survive. So stressful.. no basking in a win or advancement..small wins with immediate huge problems piling up.

wasn't fun after a point.. just powered through. Normally I want to self insert and think what I would do.. but here its so unrealistic .. sigh.

So next time just dont use a premise if your never going to actually use it lol. The only Revolutionizing that gets done is from the empire. Not a fan of that ending either. kinda disappointed with this book. Narration carried this book hard.

Great world, and cool introduction of magic. The relationships are slow burn so its main focus is story over flashy action scenes, but there are those too! Sequels can be hit or miss but they definitely hit with this one.

I enjoyed the main character, and most of the other characters, magic system, and story. Villain seemed a bit… dumb.
