Read in One Day!

This is exactly how books about history should be written! She didn’t excellent job of taking a person that is not well known and having a fall in love with them. It gave me a whole new perspective on Queen Charlotte as a mother-in-law. Additionally, it gave me better understanding of events that have been boiled down to a footnote.

Long-time Ann fan, not surprised by how perfect this biography was.

I have been following Vulgar History for years and have been anticipating this book for a long time. Ann provides Caroline the justice she deserved then, now in an honest and loving way. Could not be more proud of someone who feels like a friend on truly an amazing debut book.

What an enthralling read/listen! I have been a fan of Ann Foster for many years, first finding her on Vulgar History podcast. I am so happy for her passion project (this book) and was thrilled to listen and support her. This book made me both giddy with the exciting storytelling and also indignant with understanding poor Caroline’s unjust life.
