The different perspectives of the same timeline were done very well.

I liked how easy it was to see a piece of myself in the personalities of each character. Well done e story!

Charming story; great performances

This type of book is not my usual genre but I do like found family so I gave it a try and was
Completely won over. Nice character development and excellent writing. The voice performances were excellent

An Excellent Listen

I rarely write a review immediately after listening to a book, but this one is different. I couldn't stop listening & finished it quickly. The character of Wendel is a brilliant facet of the story, probably my favorite part. Yes, this is a "feel-good" book, with both sad parts & warm & fuzzy parts, but overall it is a better read than most books of that type. I also think it would make a really nice movie.

People’s misfortunes

Enjoyed each character how they grew through out. Some happy & cranky. Life brings people together & changes them for the better.

Great Book!

Wasn’t expecting to like it so much. A very real story about addiction and what it looks like. Didn’t love Windil’s storyline, but also didn’t hate it. Would recommend to anyone.
