I enjoyed this story a lot. I appreciated the use of Regency England as the backdrop to this Cinderella-like story. I liked Gwendolyn as she was very sweet, and then as life became more and more difficult, I admired her determination to succeed, in spite of the odds against her. I admired G. L. Robinson's narration as her performance was easy to follow and kept my attention. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
