At the end of the meeting, I watch the happy little family walk away, and I don’t miss Theo’s eyes staring at me just a second too long. He knows I’m onto him. But only I know what I’m going to do next…

It was good

Surprising twists and so many lies and deception with a sprinkle of secrets. It’s a bit predictable then turn after turn another twist. Characters were definitely well developed and interesting.

Narration was good. Now that I’ve listened once I wonder how I would hear it a second time?

Good enough!

The voice actress read this so incredibly well. I felt like I was listening to a movie, if that makes sense. The author wrote in such modern language. I really enjoyed it! The story itself intrigued me. I don’t feel like it dragged or anything like that, but I did feel like the outcome was a little predictable. I am a sucker for a shock, though, so I might be biased. All in all, it was a good read. I would recommend!

A psychological thriller.

My Husband’s Wife a psychological thriller. Keeps you guessing until just about the end. I won’t give away the ending, but it was pretty obvious to me when one particular piece of evidence was revealed. Still, imagine Eva’s confusion when her dead husband shows with his fiancee and baby for their wedding consultation. Things escalate from there when she must determine if this is in fact, her debt husband.

This book kept me interested from the get-go and the audio performance was well done. Carla Kovach his written, a strong four star read.

Book Review: My Husband’s Wife

My Husband’s Wife is a gripping read full of twists and drama that kept me hooked. The story really makes you think about trust and how well you know the people closest to you. The characters feel real, and the themes of love and betrayal hit home. That said, the ending felt a bit unfinished and left me wanting more closure. Still, definitely worth a read if you like emotional, suspenseful stories.
