Devastated by betrayal, Kandice returns to her small hometown to start over as a single mom and teacher. But as her reawakened bond with Rebekah, her former high school friend, deepens, Kandice can't ignore the growing feelings she’s tried so hard to suppress.

Rebekah has always regretted letting go of the woman she loved. When fate brings Kandice back to town, betrayed and with a child in tow, Rebekah wonders if there’s still a chance for them.

Meddling friends, family drama, and rivals for love seem determined to pull them apart. In the small town where love once slipped through their fingers, can Kandice and Rebekah finally find the love they always wanted?

Crossroads (formerly Open Road 1 & 2) is a completely revamped novella kicking off a brand new small-town sapphic series.

This book tells the story of a divorced mom going back to her hometown where she hopes to mend her broken heart.

With her husband cheating on her with her best friend, Candace packs her bags and takes her son to her mom's home to start over. Home, where Rebecca is still waiting. Her oldest friend, whom she lost touch with because of her controlling ex-husband. Things are about to change because Rebecca doesn't look at her just as the friend she used to know, but as the one who got away.

This is a fast-paced story with a ton of heart and more than one antagonist to keep you on your toes. But at the end of the day, this is a HEA filled with romance, second chances at life and love, and more than enough spice to keep you hot and bothered.

The narration is perfect, and the southern vibe bleeds through just as it should! The characters are easily identifiable by the way they are voiced.

Amazing voice acting

I think that was a good, sapphic novel that gets right to the point. While the ending feels a bit rushed, it also does leave the story resolved. I don’t have any burning questions and yet could imagine a future between the two main characters. Enjoyable and quick listen.

Good Sapphic Novel
