A city of secrets. A man who listens. And the passengers who only speak when they believe no one will remember.

In the glittering shadows of Monaco—where power moves behind closed doors and wealth wears a practiced smile—an unnamed chauffeur drives strangers through a city that knows how to hide. But inside his quiet car, masks slip. Voices tremble. The unspoken becomes sacred.

Monaco, Unspoken is a deeply poetic and emotionally rich novel told through a series of intimate, character-driven encounters. From a tech billionaire seeking to remember the man he once was, to a grieving widow who takes one last ride with her dog, to a ghosted man searching for the moment he disappeared from his own life—each story unfolds not in grand gestures, but in silences, fragments, and the ache of what is left unsaid.

Blending literary fiction with quiet drama, this novel invites readers to slow down, listen closely, and reflect on the subtle transformations that happen in fleeting moments. Told through the eyes of a chauffeur who becomes a vessel for other people’s truths, Monaco, Unspoken explores themes of memory, grief, identity, emotional loneliness, quiet connection, and the weight of words never spoken.

For readers who love:

  • Slow, lyrical novels with emotional depth

  • Character-driven storytelling set in evocative European cities

  • Stories about grief, introspection, and human connection

  • Authors like Patrick Modiano, Rachel Cusk, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Celeste Ng

  • Fiction that blends beauty, melancholy, and quiet transformation

Set against the atmospheric backdrop of the French Riviera, Monaco, Unspoken reveals that sometimes the most profound journeys don’t take us far—they take us inward.

This is not the Monaco of red carpets and fast cars.
This is the Monaco where a man’s silence says everything.
Where a chauffeur’s seat becomes a confessional.
And where the unspoken becomes unforgettable.

I loved this book! However i believe that the automated reader loses the emotion and overall feel of the book. It’s also distracting when words aren’t pronounced “correctly”.

Great story, not so great reader
