I really appreciated how Reese Hunter (author) talked how how crucial it is to make your daily routines flexible. To many people, this might sound counterintuitive, but it really is so important to give ourselves plenty of wiggle room, lest we encounter the vengeful dragon that is overwhelm. We usually can’t take him down, not without plenty of recovery space around him in which we can recalibrate, accomplish another small task, and then regroup. Chip away, chip away. Thank you to the author for recognizing this.

Flexible routines are imperative

This audiobook is divided into two parts, both packed with real-world strategies. The first focuses on self-awareness and diagnosis, explaining symptoms in a relatable way that removes shame and confusion. The second part dives into tools for time management, emotional regulation, focus, and relationships, offering actionable steps.

Lisa Holloway’s narration is warm and engaging. She delivers the material with the perfect balance of empathy and energy.

A major benefit is the included PDF companion, which is full of worksheets, checklists, and strategy summaries. It’s an excellent resource to reinforce what you hear.
