Good story. Good narration.

This story wraps up the plot threads of the Dr. Maxwell Thornton Murder Mystery series rather neatly. I enjoyed Matt Haynes' voice and performance. The story kept me engaged, although I was skeptical of some of the medical and police procedures. I appreciate how the author explores Max's struggles with being social. Main characters don't need to be charismatic for them to have appeal. Overall an entertaining read/listen if you are looking for a slightly cozy mystery with interesting characters.

Yes! Another Great One

I love this series and this volume does not disappoint. It continues right where volume 6 leaves off and moves into a brand new set of mysteries. One of the best books in the series, in my opinion. Also really liked how long it was and hope future volumes are just as long. Matt Haynes outdoes himself again as the narrator. Can't wait for the eighth book!

I have waited so long for this book to come out on audio. S. C. Wynne never disappoints and Matt Haynes is such a wonderful narrator I can’t imagine anyone but Matt bringing Max and Royce to life. There is nothing to dislike about this book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Max and Royce are like old friends for me. Thank you S. C. Wynne for yet another great story. Bless you 😊🥰
