Highly recommend

I just finished The Druid Queen and honestly, it grabbed me even more than the first book. Orion’s journey really hit me, he’s trying to hold it together after losing so much, and you can feel the weight of every choice he makes.I also thought the narrator did a great job of bringing the emotions and stakes to life. If you liked the first book, this one definitely takes things up a notch. Now I’m already wishing the next one was out.

Fast-paced and full of surprises!

Very, very entertaining. I have not yet read or listened to Book 1 in the Kingdom of the Stars collection. But The Druid Queen (Book 2) was amazing. The story captivated me, and I didn't want to stop listening. I appreciated the way Gerlt developed Orion's character and his romance with Astrid. Her colorful minor characters, especially Captain Jolene, and subplots gave the storyline depth. The surprises woven throughout the book made it just unpredictable enough. The narrator did a great job at conveying the emotions and their intensity, from love to loss, confusion to betrayal. I highly recommend The Druid Queen.
