Juniper Gates was only seventeen when she became the victim of a lightning strike which left her physically wounded and robbed of two years of her memories.

Now, sixteen years later, her beloved husband is dying, and Juniper's life now revolves around his continuous daily care. With the help of close friends and a few loyal family members, she does whatever she can to assure his comfort as he slowly begins to fade away.
