This is comfort food fantasy done right. Yes, it uses established tropes, but if you read fantasy for escapism, this hits the spot perfectly.
The multi-POV structure lets you see the world through different eyes, and the characters feel genuinely real. The MC is overpowered, smart, and competent—which is a huge plus in my book. If you prefer protagonists who get beat up every fight but still somehow prevail, this isn't for you. The AI narration lacks emotion and frequently uses incorrect inflection, but the excellent story carries it completely.
Highly recommend for anyone who loves heartwarming, trope-filled fantasy with competent characters.
