Wow I can’t wait for more

Some of the books felt like filler but this one was heart pumping. Can’t wait for what’s next!!!

Great series but the conversation seems just a bit uncharacteristic of the established characters.

I totally recommend this series but this book 13 has a different tone with the character voices. The ball busting banter that makes this series so endearing has given way to cool, quick communication of a seal team. I had wondered if it was a different author entirely, or perhaps just written at a different time from the rest of the series. But something seems off...... (wondering if our heros are internally compromised) Love it!

Quality in the writing has dropped, lots of repetition

I enjoyed this series for a while, but it has become hard to get through. The fun interactions among characters are gone. So many repeated statements. Massive jumps in logic via a single statement. Equipment (i.e. the stealth suit) completely forgotten. Half the cast feels like they are there just to give commentary. Even Ned barely participates anymore. I'm sorry; this feels so close to slop that I just can't keep listening.

Still a fun series

This series has held up pretty well, but this volume has been kind of disappointing. The author takes off on a bunch of barely related "side quests" that get tiring. Based on the never ending "side quests" and the epilogue to this volume I will be taking a closer look at the next volume when/if it is published before spending credits or cash on it. This series may have run its course with this volume.
