Alfonz Grimwalch is called the Grinch. The past haunts him. Ghosts haunt him, and his commanding officer grinds life into grey misery. Just when nothing matters, she assigns him body guard duty to the worst nightmare possible. Mary is terrified, heartbroken, alone. People are trying to kill her. Running, Grim's determined to make it this time. If he can survive long enough to get Mary into the church maybe the stars above will offer hope for them all.
