The moment I see her at the party in glitter and black lace, I know I’ll ruin her.

She doesn’t know my name, but she’ll never forget my hands after I drag her into the shadows and make her melt, right there against the wall while the music drowns out her moans.

Then she disappears, leaving me with the scratches of her nails on my back and the taste of her on my lips. I don’t even know her name or her number.

When I see her again, I realize she’s the coach’s daughter—off-limits, untouchable, and dating some big shot’s son her dad set her up with. I bet the guy couldn’t last five minutes on the ice with me.

She avoids me like the plague, but I’m on her campus, on her screen, and in her head.

Every goal I score? It’s for her.

Every fight I start? It’s because of her.
