Local portrait artist, Anja Steele is recovering from a near fatal accident she has no recollection of, and her doctors insists she must recall the details on her own as part of the healing process. After spending two weeks in the hospital, she's sent home and is cared for by her cousin, Stella.

Although everything appears to be normal on the surface, something has gone terribly wrong, since Anja has lost her ability to sleep. Whenever she loses consciousness, she immediately awakens years into the future. Fearing for her sanity, she confides in Stella, the only person she feels she can trust.

Knowing her problems began after the incident no one will speak of, Anja is determined to discover what happened. Because it's evident someone close to her knows and will do anything they can to stop her from remembering.
