The book turned out to be very good. I actually had to get back on here to change my review.

The wife in this story sounds and acts just like the wife in the book The Empty Chair; she's nieve and has no voice yet again, but its a series and so i get it now. It was hard getting thrown the portions of the book where Maise was being manipulated, but then she came to know the truth and could no longer deceivd. I was so annoyed by the husband and his blatant selfishness. The way the role of the husband and wife was broken down from the Bible was so refreshing. It's so sad how scripture is twisted and misused to manipulate. I would recommend this is other marriage women and those contemplating marriage. I began to enjoy the book more after her counseling session with the counselor that stopped to listen and walked her through the scriptures. Beautifully done. So refreshing as well that she was able to discerning the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to her spirit.
