Funny, realistic, and moving!

Catherine Walsh is a superb writer - her characters feel very real - they are smart and funny, flawed and likable. These four short stories work well even if you haven’t yet read Ms. Walsh’s wonderful novels, but if you have, they’re even more delightful! All four stories happen around Christmas, and reflect many realities that the season brings, but with characters you are immediately drawn to. There are laugh out loud moments, and others that will bring tears to your eyes. The narrators do a marvelous job performing these very enjoyable stories!

3.5 Stars ⭐️ Merrily Ever After are 4 separate holiday short stories. They pretty good. My favorite is Lara and Oliver’s story.

Sweet stories, wonderful narrators! Recommend reading the earlier two books (better yet listening!) beforehand. Enjoy!

Another Walsh Win - Festive, Cozy & Joyful!

Loved this addition to Catherine Walsh’s ‘Holiday Romance’ and ‘Snowed In’ (my favorite Christmas reads of recent years). Walsh is the BEST at sweet, witty banter - and the holiday setting is her best. 4 sweet stories that will be enjoyable to all (but especially to those of us that loved the first 2 books mentioned)! I dragged this listen on as long as utterly possible, but sadly have finished. Luckily we have new work from her again in the spring!
