Omg I’m obsessed with this book and these characters especially the way they’re portrayed by the narrators! Josie is a badass investigator known as Maneater and the female narrator narrates for her beautifully! This book had me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next thing to happen I was hopping with giddy anticipation! Listening to how Josie and Rowans story unfolded was nothing short of phenomenal! The banter was top tier. I also loved how obsessed he was with her. This audio was amazing it’s like listening to them tell their story in real time and I can’t get enough!

Such a blast!

This book was an absolute blast! Think a modern take on Charlie’s Angels, where the women are total badasses who use their beauty and brains to take down scumbag men. I loved everything about this—the bombshell energy, the mystery, and that gorgeous tropical resort setting. I was all in from the very beginning!

Our main character, Josie, is a PI nicknamed "The Maneater" because she can flirt the secrets out of just about anyone. She’s undercover at the Daydream Resort to catch a saboteur, but she keeps running into Rowan, the resort’s broody, workaholic VP of Operations.

Rowan knows there is more to her story, and he is determined to figure it out—which leads to an interrogation scene that is... well, let’s just say I’d be answering ALL the questions!

I adored Josie! She’s smart, observant, and totally leans into the fact that people underestimate her. Plus, her partnership with Rory is perfection, they complement each other’s skills so well. The mystery kept the plot moving at lightning speed, and the balance of action and romance was so much fun.

Maneater was so fun!

This was such a good time and perfect for anyone who loves Charlie’s Angels! I cannot wait for this series to continue!

As soon as this audiobook was announced I couldn't wait to listen to it and experience this story again! I've been wanting to get into this author's audiobooks and I've been so excited for this listen ever since. Back to The Mavens world I went! I absolutely loved this audiobook!

Having listened to both Amy Hall and Christian Fox's narration before I was so happy that these two were narrating Maneater! Amy as Josie and Christian as Rowan were amazing! These two captured the back and forth, the undeniable chemistry, the setting, all of the keep you on edge moments, the blushworthy spice, and total addictiveness of it all as Rowan and Josie! I loved falling in love with this story all over again. I didn't want to stop listening to Amy and Christian! I definitely need to listen to more of their narration in the near future.

Josie and Rowan's journey had me hooked all over again! From all the ways that these two got each other and their banter to the delicious spice, moments that kept me on edge, and all the feels that they brought, i fell hard for these two once again!

I'm so excited for more of The Mavens!

With Maneater, Ms.Elizabeth has rocked it with this breath of fresh air and totally addictive journey! This is one of my favorite audiobooks of 2025! I can't wait to listen to more of this author's audiobooks in the future. 💗🎧

Fun & Entertaining Story!

I love a story with a badass FMC and Josie knows how to use her beauty and her brains and I loved it!

This story was fresh, fun, exciting, and so entertaining. I loved the concept of the Mavens and how Josie had been doing that type of work for years solving problems.

As luck would have it, Rowan and Josie have been circling each other for years and when they run into each other at the island resort, things get very interesting. I loved how they worked together to solve the crime, but also how working together brought them together as well. The tension had been there all along so it was time they finally fall together. Not to mention the hilarious banter they had and how fun they were together.

On audio, Amy Hall and Christian Fox were both great! I loved the suspense, the swoon, and the sexiness they brought to this story which made it such a fun listening experience.
