Good read. Eye opening and real.

Kevin held his story for so long while his children grew up. It was nice to hear his perspective. I teared up a couple of times listening to the struggles of all involved. Mental illness is confusing. Seems like he did some growing up and put his kids first, in the end. I appreciate hearing his introspective take on the events in his life.

Completely changed my perspective.

This completely changed my perspective of this man and the work he put in to make a normal life for his children.

Kevin Federerline just gained a new fan.

I’ve never known much about Kevin Federline, except the media portrayal of being a lazy has been that freeloads off of Britney Spears. I really enjoyed his story and I think that portrayal is way off base. The biggest things that stuck out to me were all of the high profile people he worked with and the success he had, I didn’t know all of the things he had been involved in. Also, I had a hunch, but his book definitely solidified that he takes parenting, seriously. He seems like a good person and an amazing dad. He doesn’t seem to burn bridges and has many long-standing relationships, which says a lot about a person. I think Kevin Federline deserves a lot more credit than he has been given by the public, but at least it seems that those in his circle know and he’s been able to live a good life. Best of luck to him, his family and especially those boys.

surprisingly deep!

I bought this book on a hunch. I wasn't really into the whole Britney and Kevin Saga, but because of certain circumstances in my life that mirror what happened in their story, I was definitely curious to hear both sides of the story. I had no idea Kevin Federline was such a deep person with an incredible understanding of himself and others. I don't think this book was meant to trash his ex-wife in the least bit. he speaks of his ex's in ways that malicious people don't. he's very honest about his own transgressions which I respect, and his love and dedication to his children is admirable. I had no idea how deep he was, his kids are very lucky to have him as a father. I really enjoyed this book it's probably one of my all-time favorites. I feel sorry that he's getting public backlash for this, but I'm sure it's mostly by people who couldn't even be bothered to read what he has to say, because I don't see how anyone can read this and not see how genuine is. plus there's plus there's so many things he says in here that I relate to on such a deep level, even though the similarities I mentioned before have me in Britney's position as the non-custodial parent. when I started reading this I didn't expect to be reading the words of someone who analyzes life in the way that I do. it was so weird to listen to a book were you hear some of your own life lessons coming out of someone else's mouth, verbatim! The thing is because that happened, I know he's being genuine. I'm really glad I decided to buy this book and I hope someday that he's able to shake that negative image people have with him, because he's just not who people think he is ( something I can relate to very much so).
