I’m sick of these stupid women!

How in the name do you make these so clearly flawed men so much more relatable and amazing than these unlikable whiny, weak-ass women?!!!!! The utter pointlessness of the FMC is amazing!!!! I didn’t think ANY writer could think up a weaker woman! Maybe you should put trigger warnings on these stupid chicks than these guys you think we need to be warned about! Sheesh! I had to skip whole chapters to quit getting annoyed at her whining! She was nausea inducing!

She had the nerve to throw him taking her V card in his face when she practically attacked him and BEGGED him to do it!!!

In the end she goes straight to dear ole dad after swearing she wouldn’t let Massimo go…causing problems…AGAIN! She KEPT getting in the damn way!!!!

Then had the nerve to make this man suffer for killing for her, keeping her safe, and loving her unlovable ass?!

As safe as he kept her, as much as he kept chasing her ass down, she kept finding reasons to run when she already proved she couldn’t protect herself over and over and damned over again. Then you paired her with the most utterly useless girl on the damned planet…LUCY?! Massimo gets a 5! FMC…-2. She was absolute garbage! Soooo the book gets at least a 3 because as “bad” as Massimo was, he was still too good for that simp.

Voices fit the characters

This was a great audio. Both characters voices fit their characters well. Loved Massimo’s accent! Story was fun. I loved Kat’s character and how she was tough without being irritating. There were some fun twists along the way…and who doesn’t love a MMC who is completely down bad? Only thing I didn’t like is the V FMC trope.

So good!

I loved this entire series! Each book was addicting and Sacred Ruin was no different. I was completely engaged with the characters and their journey together. It was sweet to see their personal growth as well as their growth as a couple. Mila Kane is an excellent writer. The narrators did a wonderful job and brought me into the story. I would love another book in this series.

I absolutely loved the first book and while I liked this one it was missing the spark for me. It could be because the tone was darker in this one but I guess I just didn’t get to feel many happy moments between the two mmc’s. A lot of the book is while she’s at hallow hall and it’s not like they had much time they could be together there unguarded. I did enjoy the part when she’s out much more and we get cameos from characters from the previous books. I loved Massimo! I feel like his character growth was beautiful. Narration was perfect.

A must read

This story is a must read I love the unique twist to this Mafia romance much different than any I read before which in turn makes this a 5 star read from me. The unique story line and drama at every turn kept me hooked! Please check your Trigger warnings this is a dark mafia romance and it lives up to the word dark. Heavy Plot and suspenseful the gasping that I did through this story I’m surprised I didn’t hyperventilate.
