The long awaited follow up to EVERY SHATTERED THING, available here: amazon.com/dp/B00ESHVACI
I heard it said once that every human is a story with skin. If this is true, paragraphs would be etched in the scars on my wrists. Whole chapters could be written about the way my heart pounds when I startle awake. And every single one of my tears could fill a book. But stories, with all their promise, only leave room for disappointment. I don’t have room for that anymore. I left it all—the hope, the love, the promise—back in my old life with the ghosts I’d rather forget: Jude. Emma. Pacey. Kevin. This is how I dare to move forward and to believe in a beginning. I let go of the old. I just grab the new and run. I don’t wait around anymore. I can’t. Waiting leaves room for the voices. Somewhere between water and sky, I'll find a way to burn these voices to the ground.

Another beautifully written story by Elora Ramirez! This is book 2 in the Shattered Things Series.
This story continues on with the life of Stephanie from Book 1- Every Shattered Thing.
After several months, life has finally changed for Stephanie and she has moved to LA to make a fresh start for herself. She is beginning to find friends, start working and trying to put her past behind her. But her past begins to creep back in.
Will Stephanie ever be free from her horrible past?
There’s friendships, love and internal pains in this story! It is a very intense, deep and emotional read. I was rooting for Stephanie all the way!!
Jessie Alan does amazing job with the narration. I highly recommend listening to this story!! She really has an amazing storytelling voice!!
It was a fast read/listen, because I was unable to stop once the story began!
**Must read book!! Read book 1 first!!**
Deep and intense!!

The storylines of Stephanie, Ren, and Jessa are all well developed and intertwine seamlessly. While book two still carries that emotional rawness, it’s not as dark as the first—it feels more healing and redemptive in tone. Jessie Alan’s narration, once again, was spot on—capturing every emotion perfectly and pulling me deeper into the story.
I enjoyed this one immensely and give it a 4.5/5.

It was hard for me to give in fully to the thought of Stephanie's father being this sex-traffic leader when outside of their small town considering he is a drunk, unstable guy who does not seem educated or all that smart. In book 1 Stephanie is the one that gives him the idea of finding new victims at the mall. So it seems like a bit of revisionist history happens when referencing some of the details of the 1st book. BUT that aside, I found it a beautiful story when tuned into Stephanie's personal life.
Jessie Alan did a wonderful job narrating and keeping me engaged in the story.
