Great Collection

This is an excellent collection of Sherlock Holmes stories (however the last story is very different and somewhat out of place). Michael Langan provides his usual outstanding narration.

Fun

A wonderful collection of stories of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson; and even Mrs. Hudson, stories are enjoyable and ending with french toast and a new author.

An Excellent Collection of Sherlock Holmes Pastiche

Susan Knight's latest entry in the world of pastiche writing has produced a volume of short stories featuring the world's most famous detective: Sherlock Holmes. Overall, this collection is excellent, tackling an edgier topic or two that would not have been presented during Doyle's time.

All the stories are interesting, with plenty of twists and turns that keep the reader engaged. I admit there were some surprise endings I did not conceive of, which only adds to the fun.The shorter final chapter is worth waiting for. That is all I will say about it!

Narrator Michael Langan does an excellent job bringing the book to life. He creates unique voices that make it easy to distinguish one character from another.

Overall, I am more than happy to recommend this book!

Classic clever Sherlock Holmes, exquisitely executed by a master storyteller! The cast of characters and their diverse accents from near and far, engaged in refined Holmsean and Dear Watsonion banter, are spot on and an absolute treat! I'll be enjoying Sherlock Holmes: The Hunter and Other Mysteries for a long time to come, and can only imagine how much fun this title would be in a book club!
