When a solar event plunges the world into darkness, Diana Vance faces a deadly journey through a frozen wasteland. Armed with her late father’s survival skills, she battles the elements and humanity's worst instincts to find her friends. As the cold grows harsher and trust becomes dangerous, survival demands everything she has.

This is like a 6th grade writing assignment. You've gotta fill some stuff in once in a while. What was her dad's background that he was able to give her all this "training" what is this training that gets referenced every few minutes but we never hear anything about? At one point she is arguing that the prison is a terrible place to settle...but doesn't offer a single scrap of anything that would support this statement. What are the fortifications hat they are making at the prison and how do they plan on defending an enormous complex with four people? It;s just awful and I've tried to roll with it in hopes that it will improve but I'm afraid I might be getting dumber every minute I listen to it.
The narrator seems very capable, that's why it's getting two stars instead of one. That's the best thing I can say about this mess.

This is terrible
