Steve Graham has been an angler since the age of eight, and for the last thirty years he has fished almost exclusively for carp. He has caught over 150 carp in excess of forty pounds during this time, but is just as enthusiastic today, as he was when he first picked up a rod, all those years ago.

'A Carp Fishing Year' is Steve's fourth book, his previous three being 'From Gudgeon To Carp', 'More Carp Fishing', and 'Carp Fishing Tips And Theories'.

This book continues his carp fishing story, from where 'More Carp Fishing' ended. It describes a lot of the fishing that Steve did during this twelve month period. mostly in France, but also in England too.
Steve prefers the less well-known waters, where there is still a little bit of mystery. The next fish could be a double, or the fish of a lifetime, and that just adds to the excitement.

He tells of all the successes, and the failures, as well as all the people that he met along the way. Steve describes some dramatic highs, when catching some wonderful fish, but also some devastating lows, that all true carp anglers can identify with.
