Never-ending Sex

First off, I typically enjoy all forms of 'smut'—whether it's dark, frisky, or unconventional. However, this book series alone made me cringe due to the sheer, unreasonable amount of sex.
​Seriously, there was at least one sex scene, sexual flashback, or lustful thought every three pages at most. The frequency was simply overwhelming.
​The main character's behavior is characterized by an extreme lack of sexual control. They are constantly turned on and lustful over virtually every creature or being they encounter, bordering on a sexual deviant to the extreme. The multitude of random hookups and constant yearning made the sex scenes, ironically, unimpressive due to their volume and frequency.
​If you were able to edit out the excessive amount of sexual content and only keep the scenes pertinent to the plot, the actual storyline was good. Unfortunately, I zoned out during most of the sexual encounters due to their ceaseless repetition.
​This is the first time I’ve ever wanted to NOT finish a book and instead just Google the storyline to streamline it and bypass the amount of sex happening.

The audio made this book unbearable. The actual writing while lacking, wasn't as bad as the audio. idk how people gave this such good reviews.

I disliked the AI reading. Ok for most part but missed human emotions and pronunciation of words.

I could barely stop listening as the plot was constantly developing. Now I want more stories with these characters.
