To know Ilya Volkov is to fear him. To defy him, lethal.

They call him The Wolf—ruthless heir to the most brutal crime family in the world. A tattooed, green-eyed devil. A seductive psychopath who trades in mind games and leaves a path of destruction in his wake.

Except, I didn't get that memo. I spit in the dark prince's face. Now, he wants to break me.

My plan involves a prestigious university, law school, and a golden future. Ilya's involves grinding me under his heel until I bend to his will. The harder I fight him, the deeper his claws sink. The more I tell myself I hate him, the harder it is to resist him.

There's a wolf howling at my door; huffing, puffing, and ready to blow my entire world down. And pretty soon, he might just devour me whole.

This standalone, extra angsty Bratva academy romance is guaranteed to leave your headphones steaming. Step into the viper's nest of Oxford Hills Academy and meet the Savage Heirs of Bratva kings and oligarchs. Absolutely no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a happy ever after.

Savage Heir was so good had me hooked from page 1. Enemies to lovers was the definition of this story and I loved every minute of it! Slow burn was worth the wait, and the tension was thick. We have a Bratva Heir and a senator‘s daughter he is known for his ruthless reputation around campus she is the new student that is assigned to Tutor him. Their first encounter is a bit of mistaken identity and a drink in the face. It’s then little red riding hood comes to face to face with the big bad wolf.

My rating for this book: 3.75⭐✨

The narration was excellent! They did such a great job 🫶🏻
Aaron Shedlock, Auri Alden - great voices, great performing, I love their work 🫶🏻

I’ve read several of this author’s other books in the past, and for me they were instant five stars, no second thoughts. I had a lot of fun with this book too. I really liked the male lead, and his name as well… (Sorry, I’m still not over the Heated Rivalry series. I think I’m going to react like this every time I hear the name Ilya.)

That said, there were quite a few clichés and some rather outdated genre tropes, and I enjoyed those parts less.

Overall, though, it was still a fun read, so I’m moving on to the next book and hoping it will be better than the first.

Running to the next book 💃🏻

Can’t wait for the next book in the series The slow burn of the 2 main characters kept me listening all night long. I listened to each word without fast forwarding past the boring parts because there were no boring parts. Looking forward to Lucas’s story.

Great story

The storyline was somewhat predictable. The theme and plot seemed too mature for high schoolers. Also the narration was more of a hybrid between dual and duet. Love the narrators but not when they are performing both male and female parts. It was not a true duet narration.

When Tenley is assigned to tutor Bratva heir Ilya she gets more that she bargained for, she gets the big bad wolf but she won't put up with his mind games which just makes him chase her harder. Loved this dirty tale, there is so.much intrigue you can't stop reading. Hot Performance!
