WHISKEY

So Good!!! I listened to this book on Audible and I do not think that the author, Kandi could not have chosen a better narrator other than the lovely, Audrey Obeyn. Audrey really made the audible book all the more enjoyable to listen too. She really brought the characters to life. Audrey’s narration skills are subperb. This book was definitely a slow burn for me, yet intense. So many times, I even got angry at “B” and Jamie. This book is definitely one to be put onto one’s TBR list. I truly enjoyed their love story and oh, it was quite a story!!!

Worth the tears I cried!

If you don’t want LOADS of angst, then you probably won’t enjoy this. But this was so painfully heartbreaking, frustrating, toxic, and I ate up every single minute of it and would do it again in a heartbeat. The emotional roller coaster this took me on had me crying so many times and just waiting for B and Jamie to find their happiness. And having Jamie’s POV was the cherry on top of this amazing book.

The audio is performed in duet by Aubrey Obeyn and Edward Black and they did a phenomenal job at bringing this to life. I’d definitely recommend the audio or an immersive read of this one!

Loved

I loved this book. It broke me and put me back together. I never expected to cry while reading a book. I highly recommend

Narrators aren’t great

Edward Black’s voice is awful. It was so hard to listen to this book. Wish it had a different narrator for Jaime’s character.

I want a few shots of Whiskey

This book is so good. I love how the story is told from both POV's. The MMC and the FMC are perfect together. Their story is brought to life with the amazing narrators. Their relationship development is so good. You feel it all, the good, the bad, the ugly. Great book
