Good prose. Captivating story.

Good righting style. Short sentences with very elegant prose, not meandering and overly long like some writers. Captivating story.

Great book!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book, but I’m glad I gave it a try. It’s not the type of book I would normally read/listen to, but I was pleasantly surprised. Missy Lane (narrator) is absolutely the best pick to have narrated this book. She keeps you engaged with her tone, pace and great performance! I can’t emphasize enough how good she makes this story with her performance, I could not imagine anyone else narrating this book.

The story is very interesting and keeps you coming back to see what happens next. Again, not a book I would normally pick up, but as I said, very glad I did.

**The only thing I would say is that this story deals with some topics that might be sensitive to some people, so do be aware of that.

Great Stand alone read

This was a great listen. This book kept me interested. I really enjoyed the historical nods and the tie between Greek, Native American, vampire and werewolf lore.
This read was well written, contains some fade to black romance scenes, and a little bit of violence but I would recommend this to Young adult readers
The way the timeline was portrayed did confuse me a little bit, but it makes more sense as you progress through the story.

Engaging

Gods and Monsters by E. E. King is an amazing urban paranormal fantasy. Missy Lane did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, captivating, engaging, and more. It’s a mix of Greek mythology, San Francisco History, and supernatural elements. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.highly recommended
