Weakened to merely a shadow of his former strength, he quickly learns that fighting alone may not be his best option, even though fate seems to like it that way.

Luckily for the world, Jim thinks fate is stupid. He doesn't care what it wants.

plot convenience

Great narration and overall interesting concept, however, the characters feel too 1 dimension. The upside to this is that it is very satisfying when the MC destroys enemies far about his level.

I really enjoyed this book and listened to it every chance I got. Definitely will listening to book 2

Epic tail

Love this story. Fresh ideas and fast paced. People feel unique and the hero is as bad at knowing who is who as I am, making it very easy to follow. Realistic interactions and nail biting action. Can’t wait for next book.
