I always love her books

Audio Review:

I always love Lisa Suzanne. She has such an amazing ability to pull in various worlds of her work together while still making the stories different and intriguing. In this one Dex Bradley finds out about a surprise baby and now he needs to navigate his next steps along with his work and what he wants to do about this new development. When he runs into Ansley, his sisters best friend, his life takes a turn. This story is filled with tension, romance, and a desire for more. Narrators Sean Masters and Vanessa Vasquez bring this story to the listeners, capturing the spice, the dilemma, and the romantic tension. Another listen that was a plug and play all day long. They did a wonderful job with it.

Ainsley’s fire and self-respect made her one of my favorite heroines of the series.

I started this book as soon as my kids went to school and I finished before they got home that same day! I had to know how Dex and Ainsley story went. They owned me from page one.

Every book in this series gets better, sharper, and more addictive. I love the runaway bride and surprise single dad that spiraled out of control into a fake marriage deliciously. He was hopeless and I couldn’t get enough of it.

Ainsley’s fire and self-respect made her one of my favorite heroines of the series.

I loved watching Dex grow and get comfortable as a new dad and standing up to his father. These Bradley boy’s and their dad.

I am a sucker for a single dad book and this one did me in! I can’t wait to book three in this series.

Bradley Legacy

Who doesn’t love a bad boy/good girl age gap story? Dex and Ainsley were a completely unexpected couple but I loved them once Dex finally got his life together.

Ainsley and Jack were the only things that were going to settle Dex, and I loved how that story played out.

The Bradley siblings are such an anomaly when it comes to sibling relationships. They are there for each other, but I wouldn’t call them close, so seeing them slowly begin to work together and stand up to their father together is refreshing.

Just outstanding!

I just finished listening to the audiobook version of "Play Fake", narrated by Sean Masters and Vanessa Vasquez. These two make the emotional drama of this story so convincing that it was like being there in person somehow. Ms. Vasquez's Ainsley had just the right "young but certain of herself" energy, and Sean sounded exactly like I would imagine a grumpy, reserved Dex would. Ms. Suzanne brought so much imagination to this plot; I especially enjoyed the way she used the reality show marriage situation in interesting ways throughout the story. Ainsley is the jilted television bride, who crosses paths with Dex Bradley, her best friend's older brother and a grumpy football star (excellent meet cute!). Add to this mix Dex's surprise son, which leads to him hiring Ainsley as a nanny. which leads to a fake marriage. Those are just the facts; Ms. Suzanne tells the story with terrific intensity. I especially enjoyed the way Ainsley stood up for herself as she and Dex navigated their developing relationship. There were some dark and scary moments to this story which certainly kept me glued to the page. I am definitely looking forward to future books in the series, especially in audio format!

The dual narration by Vanessa Vasquez and Sean Masters was absolutely phenomenal. Vanessa Vasquez was brilliant as Ainsley. Sean Masters was divine as grumpy Dex. These two extraordinarily talented voice actors brought this story to life beautifully. I highly recommend listening.
