Books out of order, listen to bk 2 first

Bk 1 we didn’t get to know him but he’s already dead & the cause of death was just determined
Bk 2 we get to know him, he’s missing & then found dead
Regardless, bks 1 & 2 were great stories & characters, love the K-9’s
Bk 3 I just don’t know, it was 60 mins & so rushed, but at the end it said it was a prequel for the characters. So I guess we’ll get more of them.

Books in Reverse Order

Books should be listed as: 1 Shield of Protection, 2 Justice Mission, 3 Act of Valor.
I was confused at my first listening…. had to go to internet to get correct listening order in the series.

Listen to the books in reverse order. Act of Valor is my favorite of the three

Listen in reverse order:
1st - Shield of Protection-April & Declan & Storm
2nd - Justice Mission -Sophie & Luke & Bruno
Last -Act of Valor - Violet & Zach & Eddie

Unless the author wanted it in reverse order for some reason.

These are my absolute favorite types of books. God, dogs, mystery, and romance.

However, both the stories and narration for Shield of Protection and Justice Mission were lacking.

I really liked both the story and most of the narration for Act of Valor.

Books Are Out Of Order!

Like the stories, quick listens, and they move right along, but they don't focus enough on the K9's abilities and times in the stories. They are merely side characters, cute but not special, and that's a disservice to how amazing K9's are.

That said, the worst part is that the stories are in backwards order in Volume 1. You need to listen the 3rd one, then the 2nd one, then the first, unless you want a bunch of spoilers.

Order of books

Great stories. But, the order of the stories is all wrong. Shield of Protection should have been the first. It is the prequel. Then Justice Mission would be second. Act of Valor should be the third book. Read or listen in this order, because it's a continuing story from the book before.
